STRATEGIC EMPOWEREMENT : KEPHIS BOARD AND MANAGEMENT TEAM ATTEND TRAINING ON FINANCE FOR NON- FINANCE MANAGERS TRAINING AND ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT (ERM TRAINING)

The KEPHIS Board and management team are attending training on Finance for Non-Finance managers Training and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Training at Serena Beach Resort, Mombasa, from December 16 to 20, 2024. The Board of Directors, led by KEPHIS Board Chairman Hon. Joseph M’Eruaki, and the management team, led by Managing Director Prof. Theophilus Mutui, are participating in the training.

The training, aligned with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) of 2012 and ISO 31000:2018 standards, reflects KEPHIS's commitment to strong leadership and organizational excellence.

The leadership will gain practical skills in interpreting financial statements, understanding audits, detecting irregularities, and aligning financial strategies with organizational goals. The ERM training will focus on setting risk tolerance levels, identifying critical risk indicators, and fostering a risk-aware culture within the organization. Through the training, KEPHIS leadership will be better equipped to make informed decisions, ensure compliance, and drive sustainable growth—ensuring excellence in Plant Health and quality of agricultural inputs and produce.
