KEPHIS Board Strengthens Productivity and Governance Through Strategic Training and Legal Reforms
From 31 July to 4 August 2026, the KEPHIS Board of Directors participated in a training on national productivity facilitated by the National Productivity and Competitiveness Centre (NPCC), alongside the adoption of the KEPHIS inaugural Legal and Governance Audit and Legislative Reforms, facilitated by the Office of the Attorney General.
The National Productivity training reinforced the Board’s focus on institutional performance, competitiveness and results-driven leadership, supporting the effective delivery of KEPHIS’s mandate.
The adoption of the inaugural Legal and Governance Audit and Legislative Reforms marks a significant step in strengthening KEPHIS’s legal and governance framework, enhancing accountability, compliance and institutional effectiveness. For the agriculture sector at large, the reforms will support stronger regulation of plant health, seed quality and agricultural trade, contributing to food security and safe trade.
