KEPHIS hosts Kenya–Malaysia Market Access Verification Mission
Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS) is hosting a Kenya–Malaysia Market Access Verification Mission for mangoes and delphinium cut flowers, a key step toward opening the Malaysian market to Kenyan produce. Through inspections, testing, and certification, KEPHIS is demonstrating Kenya’s capacity to meet international phytosanitary and quality standards.

The mission brings together experts from KEPHIS and Malaysia to assess production sites, pack houses, export facilities, and inspection systems. Successful market access will create new opportunities for farmers and exporters, diversify export destinations, and strengthen Kenya’s position in global agricultural trade.
By safeguarding plant health and facilitating safe trade, KEPHIS continues to support Kenya’s agricultural transformation and connect local producers to markets across Africa and around the world.
