KEPHIS Plants Trees During the National Tree Growing Day

Headquarters - Our Board of Directors together with staff joined Kenyans in planting trees as a long term solution to the climate crisis currently being experienced in our country and around the world. The National Tree Growing Day was also a day to stand in solidarity with those affected by the ongoing floods.

Avocado and other seedlings were planted and will be taken care off to maturity. So far, KEPHIS has planted over 1,000 seedlings in this financial year around the country where KEPHIS has regional offices where its various operations take place. Tree planting has been touted as the singular long term solution to the climate crisis and its devastating effects on life and livelihoods.
